Getting used to the local food can be challenging for some of us who are not used to SPICY, FERMENTED or RAW food~ It's always good to know what it is you're about to eat and how they go about cooking it so you don't get carried away with your IMAGINATION~ So join us if you'd like to participate in this food tour in one of the most traditional markets in Seoul where you can try all the variety of street food as well as some of the most representative foods in Korea.
The Gwangjang Market is home to some 200 stalls set up among kimchi and fresh seafood vendors. Its specialty is the golden fried nokdu bindaetteok (mung-bean pancake; ₩5000), paired beautifully with Makgeolli (rice wine). Also you have more healthy options like Bibimbap or Boribap (mixed rice and barley topped with a selection of veggies).
For more details. go to their official web page, unfortunately only available in Korean. http://www.kwangjangm...
