Runsploring Seoul

Join us for a run at Yangjae Citizen's Forest (양재시민의숲). We can run around the park and also along Yangjae Stream. There is another park right next door that we can run around. There are some neat sculptures you can check out in the park.

We will not have a set route. We can run with some people an distance and anywhere in the park or along the stream. Take time to enjoy the scenery and relax as you get some exercise.

We will meet at 10:45am and begin running by 11:00am. If you are late you can still join us. Just walk to the park and begin to run. We will meet back at exit 5 by 12:00pm.

Meeting Location:  Yangjae Citizen's Forest Station, Shinbundang Line, Exit 5 (양재시민의숲역, 신분당선, 5번출구)

Meeting Time: 10:45am (by 11:00am we will begin to run)

Notes on our runs:

• How long are our runs?

You can run any distance you want. But we try to keep our runs to one hour from the time we start to run.

• How far do we run?

You can run as far as you want, in one hour. Usually, we have one group that runs 10km and another group that runs 5 km.

• How fast do we run?

We have members who are fast and slow. This is not a race, you should run at a comfortable pace. If you get tired, walk or take a break and enjoy the views. Keep joining us, you will get better.

• What do I need?

You need running shoes and a good spirit. Maybe bring some water for after the run, or some money to buy some.

• Will we run if there is bad weather?

We run in the rain and snow. You can choose if you want to run when there is bad weather. Understand it can be more dangerous to run in rain or snow. If there is weather so bad that it is not safe to run (i.e.: hurricane, tsunami, lots of lightning) the meetup will be canceled. You can check the meetup before you come.
