The Sundam Valley which is 5km away to northwest side of the Cheorwon County Office is one of the most beautiful valleys in Korea. The cliffs are naturally sculptured forming uniquely shaped rocks. The water is clear, clean and refreshing and small beaches have formed along the edge of the river. The 2 hour rafting trip will include a few moments of exciting rapids rafting combined with calming moments drifting down the river and admiring the beautiful landscape.
We will get ready to hit the rapids! Life jackets and helmets will be provided and must be worn at all times on the river. Please dress appropriately- nylon clothes (not cotton) and water shoes or sneakers, not flip flops, which could easily fall off. Our group will be split into teams that will be assigned by an instructor. The instructor will provide a brief overview of paddling and safety.
